The Chemistry Festival was held for 4th-grade students on 25 November 2025 at Tekkeköy Kutlukent Şehit Uğur Birinci Elementary School by Dr. Melik Öksüz and Dr. Nazlı Özcan Çöken, faculty members of our Vocational School’s Chemistry Technology Program, together with volunteer students Muhammet Emir Kuru, Çiğdem Şenyer, and Beyza Okucu.
Within the scope of the event, students were shown the connection of chemistry to daily life through fun and colorful experiments. Thanks to these experiments, the students had the opportunity to realize that chemical reactions are actually present in every aspect of life. They followed the event with curiosity and great interest. At the end of the activity, books were gifted to the students, providing a small yet meaningful contribution to their learning journey. It was once again observed that such hands-on activities are highly effective in increasing students’ interest in science.
