The Aim Of The Program: The basic aim is to educate qualified members within the field of Chemistry and Chemical Administration Technology in accordance with scientific and technological developments by considering the demands of the sector. In parallel with this aim, it is planned to educate chemistry technicians who are open to social and technological innovations, active, productive, respectful to man and environment, self-reliant, and who are knowledgeable about basic chemistry and technology and who can change his/her knowledge and experience into practice.
Qualification Required: Candidates, who graduate from the related fields of Vocational and Technical Secondary Schools, have the right to transfer to the related program without exam. The list of High Education Programs about their fields is determined by ÖSYM for the candidates.
Graduation Requirements And Degree: Graduates successfully completing their program become Chemistry Technician and get a pre-bachelor degree of Chemistry Program.
Students completing at least 120 ECTS of courses gain the right to have an associate degree. Students have to complete successfully the industry-based education (30 work days) before graduation.
Work Opportunities For The Graduates: Graduates can work in the public sector by entering into KPSS in accordance with the capabilities they gained in their fields. They can also work in such sectors as:
