Purpose of the Program: What the industry needs is to train qualified Arms Industry Technicians who have a high level of professional knowledge and skills and can easily adapt to business life and technological developments. In this program, which offers job opportunities in the public and private sectors, students; They learn the use of machinery and measuring instruments, equipment, maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment, preparation of technical reports and projects, and ensuring the occupational safety of the workplace and personnel.
Required Qualifications: Candidates who graduated from Secondary Education Institutions are determined by choosing according to the scores they received as a result of the exam held by ÖSYM.
Graduation Requirements and Degree: Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded an associate degree with the title of WEAPONS INDUSTRY TECHNICIAN. Students who successfully complete at least 120 ECTS courses are entitled to receive an associate degree. Students must successfully complete industry-based training before graduation (30 working days).
Employment Opportunities for Graduates: Weapons industry technicians work in various positions in public and private sector factories, technical offices, production workshops or quality control units. Those who work in the technical office form the bridge between industrial vocational high school graduates and mechanical engineers.
